Our foundation was created with the future in mind. The Juneberry Education Foundation (JEF) is a registered 501(c)3 non-profit public charity overseen by the North Carolina Department of Agriculture. Our mission is to inspire farmers to reimagine the agricultural landscape in North Carolina through the study, research, and real-world application of regenerative farming. We offer internships, accredited training, and hands-on learning to current and future farmers.
The Juneberry Education Foundation is committed to providing a working and learning environment that is free from discrimination and harassment based on an individual’s sex, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, gender expression, genetic information, age, ethnic group identification, race, ancestry, national origin, immigration status, religion, color or mental or physical disability or any other basis protected by federal, state, local law, ordinance or regulation.
Founded in 2017 by Becky Griffin with UGA Extension in Georgia, the GSEPC started as a local project to educate community garden managers and teachers. It has since expanded into a multi-state initiative, engaging citizens of all ages to observe and record pollinator activity during a two-day event each August.
