Here at Juneberry Ridge, we have an event for everyone: sporty or artsy, hands-dirty or head-in-the-clouds. Come be a stargazer, or a foodie. Take up a challenge, or a new craft. It’s a whole world of experiences, only made better by our irrepressible southern hospitality. (After all, we want you to fall in love with the farm too.)
About this half day seminar:
Agriculture is another word for farming and farming is what we do to provide food that nourishes our communities. Without farmers, there would be no food, and without youth in agriculture, there would be no farmers.
Young people are the key to building a brighter future for farming. Within agriculture, there are also many paths youth can explore to build exciting careers that nourish the world.
But, what does a brighter future for farming look like?
How are farmers today changing the way the world grows its food?
And, how can youth participate in growing food while also growing their career opportunities?
Explore questions like these at Juneberry’s Youth In Agriculture Seminar this summer. Learn from the land, and the farmers who work it. This is your opportunity to discover new opportunities shaping the future of youth in agriculture.
