Here at Juneberry Ridge, we have an event for everyone: sporty or artsy, hands-dirty or head-in-the-clouds. Come be a stargazer, or a foodie. Take up a challenge, or a new craft. It’s a whole world of experiences, only made better by our irrepressible southern hospitality. (After all, we want you to fall in love with the farm too.)
Gain hands-on experience with the expert guidance of our livestock manager, Adam, as you learn to dispatch, scald, pluck, eviscerate, break down, and package our pasture-raised, non-GMO chickens. This workshop is perfect for anyone interested in learning how to process chickens, considering starting their own flock, or preparing to process their own birds.
At Juneberry Ridge, our chickens roam freely, pecking and scratching our land, promoting soil health and biodiversity. Witness the difference that regenerative farming makes and gain the essential skills our ancestors knew so well. This workshop is more than just learning—it’s about building community, connecting with like-minded individuals, and rediscovering the joy of real food.
