This workshop is ideal for new gardeners as well as experienced enthusiasts who want to learn how to grow delicious fruits and vegetables alongside their ornamental plants.
Enjoy a family-style lunch at noon featuring seasonal flavors from our farm before heading to our greenhouse for a 2-hour instructional gardening workshop. Our experienced team will teach you how to grow a thriving edible landscape all year long. Through a combination of classroom instruction and hands-on activities, you’ll gain the essential skills to:
- – Select fruits and vegetables that thrive within your backyard environment
- – Design and prepare your garden beds for optimal fruit and vegetable production
- – Choose the right planting techniques for a flourishing edible landscape
- – Learn about ongoing care to cultivate bountiful harvests throughout the year
