Where experiences bloom.
Here at Juneberry Ridge, we have an event for everyone: sporty or artsy, hands-dirty or head-in-the-clouds. Come be a stargazer, or a foodie. Take up a challenge, or a new craft. It’s a whole world of experiences, only made better by our irrepressible southern hospitality. (After all, we want you to fall in love with the farm too.)

The Great Backyard Bird Count 2022

In partnership with Stanly Community College
Birds Bring Us Together for the Great Backyard Bird Count
Join the global community in sharing a love of birds & nature
For a quarter of a century the annual Great Backyard Bird Count has been a bright spot for nature lovers. The 25th edition of the event is coming up, and we want to invite you to participate with us at Juneberry Ridge on Saturday, February 19th. Everyone is invited to join the count so their birds become part of a massive database used by scientists to track changes in bird populations over time. The Great Backyard Bird Count is a joint project of the Cornell Lab of Ornithology, National Audubon Society and Birds Canada.
You’re also invited to tune in to a special webinar about how to participate in the GBBC. It’s being held February 16 from 2:00 to 3:00 PM Eastern Time. It’s free. Just register to attend the Facebook livestream.
