DESCRIPTION:In partnership with Stanly Community College\n \nBirds Bring Us Together for the Great Backyard Bird Count \nJoin the global community in sharing a love of birds & nature \nFor a quarter of a century\, the annual Great Backyard Bird Count has been a bright spot for nature lovers. The 26th edition of the event is coming up\, and we want to invite you to participate with us at Juneberry Ridge on Saturday\, February 18th. \nEveryone is invited to join the count\, and your bird sightings will become part of a massive database used by scientists to track changes in bird populations over time.
