DESCRIPTION:Join us at Juneberry as we break down chicken processing with our NON-GMO fed pasture raised poultry. Whether you just want to know how\, thinking about getting started or about to do it live on your own we can help you learn the basics and a few expert tricks from feather to freezer. Our Lead Instructor Adam Barriger owner of Shelter Mountain Farms\, and employee of Juneberry Ridge\, will walk us through each step from dispatch\, scalding\, evisceration\, parting out and packaging\, alongside our livestock production specialist Tyler Turner. We will also discuss equipment and techniques across all budgets from fire and fingers to featherman specialized scalding and plucking equipment\, which will be used during this session. All course participants are able to leave with two birds\, one whole and one broken down as you learn to do it all at Juneberry. DESCRIPTION:Join us at Juneberry as we break down chicken processing with our NON-GMO fed pasture raised poultry. Whether you just want to know how\, thinking about getting started or about to do it live on your own we can help you learn the basics and a few expert tricks from feather to freezer. Our Lead Instructor Adam Barriger owner of Shelter Mountain Farms\, and employee of Juneberry Ridge\, will walk us through each step from dispatch\, scalding\, evisceration\, parting out and packaging\, alongside our livestock production specialist Tyler Turner. We will also discuss equipment and techniques across all budgets from fire and fingers to featherman specialized scalding and plucking equipment\, which will be used during this session. All course participants are able to leave with two birds\, one whole and one broken down as you learn to do it all at Juneberry.
